Transition of Revit Plugin and Pollination Cloud to Paid

Hello, Pollination community!

As we continue to transition away from BETA access, we have some new details to share with you for the Revit plugin and Pollination Cloud. Please read on to learn about what is changing, what is not changing, and when it all happens!

Pollination Revit Plugin

We just released a new version of the Revit plugin with a brand new UI and with several improvements based on your feedback!

After these changes, we’re happy to announce that the Revit Plugin is ready to migrate to a paid product similar to our Transition of the Rhino Plugin to Paid! Over the past few months, we’ve overhauled the User Interface for the Revit plugin and we can’t wait to share it with you at our upcoming User Meetup on Thursday (March 24, 2022)! We hope to see you there!

The transition to a paid product will occur on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

What’s changing?

To continue using the Pollination Revit Plugin, please purchase a subscription before, March 29, 2022. For pricing and other FAQs , please check out our pricing page.

Similar to the Rhino Plugin, a monthly Revit plugin subscription comes with a 14-day free trial and does not require a long-term commitment or contract. You can cancel at any time, but we do not offer refunds on unused time or resources if you cancel before the end of your subscription.

To appreciate the early adopters, the first 25 purchases can use the PO_Revit_Early_Adopter coupon on checkout to get a 25% recurring discount on their purchase of the Revit plugin!

Getting Started with Revit

Learn how to get started with modeling best practices in Revit that will help set you up for success!

What’s not changing?

Aside from a new monthly payment to use the Revit plugin, your user experience will not change! It will only get better as we continue to improve the plugin and add more features. Please continue to use the Revit category on Discourse to make feature requests, report bugs, ask questions, and communicate with the development team.

Pollination Cloud Computing

We are also transitioning our Cloud platform to support our paid single-user Professional and multi-user Organization accounts.

What is changing?

During BETA testing, all users had access to essentially unlimited cloud computing resources, storage, and could create several private projects. However, as we transition to paid cloud computing resources, users that stay with a free Starter account will no longer be able to add new private projects and will be limited to the resources of a starter account. If you’d like to maintain seamless access during this transition and maintain the cloud computing storage and resources that you had during BETA testing, you can subscribe to the Professional Account before the transition occurs on April 11, 2022.

These changes will take effect on April 11, 2022. Depending on when your account cycle will be reset you will have a few more days before you see the change in your account.

What is not changing?

Aside from a new monthly payment (or not if you have a Starter account) to use Pollination cloud, your user experience will not change! It will only get better as we continue to improve the user interface and improve computing time. Please continue to use the Web app category on Discourse to make feature requests, report bugs, ask questions, and communicate with the development team.

Hi @mostapha,

I do not see the option to purchase the Revit plugin. Was the transition from Beta to paid delayed?

I still see the Rhino option, just nothing for Revit.

Hi @justinshultz! Can you hard-refresh the page? It should show up under the Rhino Plugin purchase on the same subscription page.
