U-Factor and U-Value in Pollination

@mingbo I am still a bit confused with the use of U-Factor and U-Value in Pollination.

If I follow this conversation then the results for a factor is supposed to be higher then the one for a value due to the air film?
Which is not the case right now. Or am I missing something?

I personally am adapted to the thinking a factor is something out of a construction, while a value belongs to a single item.

I know the terms are not totally fixed but doesn’t it make sense to keep it one way in Ladybug.

Hi @martin6, U-Factor is for the original construction + air film which has more resistance than the construction itself. So U Factor should be smaller than U Value.
