Update on LEED Credit Criteria

Hello,

One of my colleges, while using the LEED Opt 1 pollination web app, discovered that there is an update for criteria of awarding credit. Quote from his, “It seems like ASE<10% was previously hard to achieve, so they’ve mandated that you need to analyze it and ‘provide a strategy to adress glare’ where it occurs. (This is for IDC, but BDC is quite similar verbiage).”

Hi @lijiaye,

The post-processing in the recipe includes this. It uses the requirements in version 4.1 so you can get 1 point for sDA >= 40%. If the ASE is larger than 10% for a room you will get a note to identify in writing how the space is designed to address glare.
