I’ve noticed that the setting inputs for the recipes is not there anymore.
Is this on purpose? If so, how can the RunSettings component be hooked now?

You should right-click on the component and expose it. It’s hidden by default.
@Mingbo and I had a conversation recently and we might make it exposed by default to encourage setting up the name and sub_folder for their simulations.
In the latest version of the Grasshopper plugin there are two inputs for metadata. You can add user inputs to each run and you can name each job and add a description, define the sub_folder for where the files to be copied in project folder and finally add keywords that might help you later to find this job.
